Typical Thickness
Range: 0.25 mm - 0.32 mm
This thickness is optimized to balance strength (for pulling) and formability. In some high-performance beverage cans (e.g., energy drinks), the thickness may reach up to 0.33 mm depending on the design.
Typical Temper
H19: This is a fully strain-hardened temper that offers maximum strength without further heat treatment. Ideal for stamped parts like pull tabs where shape retention and springback resistance are critical.
