Rust Proof Grade A5052 5454 Aluminum Alloy Sheet
5052 aluminum alloy is the most widely used rust-proof aluminum material. This alloy offers high strength, excellent fatigue resistance, superior plasticity, and outstanding corrosion resistance. While it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment, it maintains good plasticity during semi-cold hardening and demonstrates excellent weldability and corrosion resistance, making it ideal for various industrial applications.
Tank trucks are specialized transport vehicles with tank-shaped bodies designed for carrying liquids, liquefied gases, and powdered goods. The aluminum alloy tank truck body consists of multiple components including side panels, fenders, and tank openings, all benefiting from the superior properties of 5052 aluminum.
Standard aluminum plates for tank trucks typically measure less than 12.5 meters in length and under 2.2 meters in width. Common thickness specifications include 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, and 8mm. A complete tank body assembly usually requires welding 4-6 aluminum plates together.
Aluminum Material Advantages
Aluminum tanker trailers offer significant fuel economy advantages compared to materials like steel, thanks to their lightweight properties. Research conducted by the European Aluminum Association demonstrates that 0.6L of gasoline can be saved per ton over 10km. For an aluminum tanker traveling 12,000km annually with a 5-ton weight reduction compared to steel, this translates to fuel savings of at least 1,800 liters per year.
